SUB:   ENHANCEMENT IN RENTAL CEILING  TO THE QUARTERS OF OFFICERS, MANAGERS AND SENIOR MANAGERS


Rental ceiling for the quarters of the eligible Officers/Managers/Senior Managers was last revised w.e.f 1.1.2007 as communicated vide our Circular No. 357/2006 dtd 30.12.2006.
Our Board of Directors are pleased to permit enhancement in rental ceilings for the quarters of eligible officers in JMG Scale I and MMG Scale II & III, with effect from 01.05.2011 as under:

Branches / Offices at Noida and Ghaziabad‚ the rental ceiling shall be as applicable to Delhi.

Further‚ the following may pleased be noted:

  1. The revised rental ceiling will be applicable only to the quarters newly taken or to the existing quarters at the time of renewal. The revised rental ceiling is not applicable to subsisting leases. In the case of quarters fixed earlier with rent higher than the then prevailing rental ceiling‚ the differential amount can be permitted up to the present rental ceiling from the effective date i.e.‚ 01.05.2011.
  2. In respect of quarters of Officers / Managers / Sr. Managers working in Urban agglomeration of cities‚ the rental ceiling shall be as applicable to the cities
  3. Fixing up of quarters either on personal lease or on Bank's lease should have prior approval from the concerned sanctioning authorities.
  4. The rental ceilings mentioned above are only the maximum permissible limits and efforts should be made to secure suitable quarters for rent below the ceiling.
